FROM METAL CARPENTRY TO THE ELEVATOR SECTOR
For over fifty years, SIMAS has been developing and creating metalwork solutions, with consolidated expertise in sheet metal processing and welding. The transition to the lift sector occurred approximately twenty years ago, thanks to the direct experience of those who still manage and guide the company's destiny today.
A JOURNEY BUILT OVER TIME
SIMAS was founded in 1982 as a company dedicated to the production of agricultural machinery. In 2004, with the acquisition by the current ownership, a new development path began.
The company progressively evolved towards the production of lift components for third parties, establishing relationships with important players in the sector and gaining an increasingly in-depth knowledge of the technical and production needs of the industry.
Over the years, SIMAS has chosen to complement its third-party production with the development of its own range of products dedicated to the lift sector: Hinged Doors and Landing Doors.
A solid network of relationships and collaborations allows us to address diverse needs and maintain a constant dialogue with the commercial, design, and production worlds.
OUR FACILITY: the structure to support growth
SIMAS's growth is also reflected in the facility that houses our operations. Strategically located in the heart of Emilia-Romagna, in the Motor Valley region, the company benefits from a context characterized by a strong industrial and manufacturing vocation.
Spaces and infrastructure are designed to support the company's production and development, in a region that has always been a benchmark for technical, mechanical, and manufacturing expertise.
